Youth Programs & Events- postponed until Further Notice

 

To protect the community against the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), Mount Alexander Shire Council had postponed all youth programs and events until further notice.

The following youth programs have been postponed until further notice;

  • Young Makers Market
  • COscars Youth Film Festival
  • Library Lock In
  • Mondo Lounge Holiday Program

 

The following youth programs have been started via correspondence for term 2 ;

  • Mondo Lounge Youth Space
  • Freeza Committee Meetings
  • Youth Advisory Group Meetings

 

Updates on how we are going to deliver these programs, via online correspondence and digital platforms, will be available at the beginning of term 2, 2020.

During this time it’s important to stay connected to family and friends and we are looking into ways to keep you connected in other ways (i.e. through our website and social media, group chats etc.). We will keep you updated!
You might feel overwhelmed by the information, conversations and the increased levels of stress in the community.
It can be helpful to keep up-to-date but it’s also okay to switch off from the 24 hour media cycle if this is getting too much.

Take some time in the next couple of weeks to do something you love! Read a book, draw, paint, cook, get into the garden, Skype / Facetime with mates and spend time with your family.
