Mount Alexander Shire’s newest flock of award-winning film-makers was celebrated on Sunday 29 October at the fourth COscars Awards and Youth Film Festival in Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal.
Young film makers, backed by a supporting teams of stars, sound specialists, script writers and scene setters, stepped up to receive their awards for best short films.
Winners took home cash prizes of up to $150 each.
The awards and festival are coordinated by Mount Alexander Shire Council’s Youth Advisory Group (YAG) and FReeZA Committee.
