April School Holidays – Hospitality Skills

Hospitality Skills Workshops are returning to Mondo these April school holidays!
We’re offering two fantastic opportunities for young people to build real world, job ready skills in the hospitality industry.
Accredited Food Handlers Course:
Attendees will receive SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety as a result of the course.
All attendees must provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) on the day. This is a national training requirement, and certificates cannot be issued without it.

Please bring your own lunch – snacks will be provided.
Barista and Cafe Skills:
This course is geared towards young people, school attendees and or new school leavers who wish to gain casual employment in the hospitality industry.
You will learn:
– Intro to types of café, café and coffee culture
– Coffee skills – basic barista skills
– Front of house (FOH) skills
– Basic food safety
– Customer Service
-Communication skills
– Your expectations and your rights in a workplace as a junior staff
