Youth Mental Health First Aid Course

Parents and carers of young people are invited to learn more about the complexities of mental health and how to support young people.

Come along to Youth Mental Health First Aid training where you’ll learn:

> The difference between normal adolescent development and a developing mental health problem

> How to have open conversations with young people

> Signs and symptoms of possible mental health problems

> Where to seek further help.

 

This Blended Youth Mental Health First Aid course will combine some online learning and face to face learning. The face to face training will be held over two evening sessions on Monday 15 November and Thursday 18 November.

Participants will receive take-home resources, meet other parents and enjoy a dinner at each session. Dinner is provided, catered for by The Dove Cafe.

5:00pm to 9:00pm | Monday 15 and Thursday 18 November 2021
