Come along to Youth Mental Health First Aid training where you’ll learn:

> The difference between normal adolescent development and a developing mental health problem

> How to have open conversations with young people

> Signs and symptoms of possible mental health problems

> Where to seek further help.

Delivered over a 1 day face-to-face session plus 3-4 hours of self-directed learning.

Lunch is provided, catered for by The Dove Cafe.

YMHFA Refresher – September 2024

 

This refresher course is for people who have already completed a Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course to refresh their knowledge and skills.

For Accredited MHFAiders, this course also offers an opportunity to extend your accreditation for a further 3 years.

Who can attend this course:  Any adult who has completed a Youth Mental Health First Aid course.
