Youth Mental Health First Aid Course

Parents and carers of young people are invited to learn more about the complexities of mental health and how to support young people.

Come along to Youth Mental Health First Aid training where you’ll learn:

> The difference between normal adolescent development and a developing mental health problem

> How to have open conversations with young people

> Signs and symptoms of possible mental health problems

> Where to seek further help.

 

This 14 hour Youth Mental Health First Aid course will be held over four evening sessions on Thursday 26 October, 2, 9, 16 November 2023.

Participants will receive take-home resources, meet other parents and enjoy a dinner at each session. Dinner is provided, catered for by The Dove Cafe.

5:00pm to 9:00pm | Thursday 26 October, 2, 9, 16 November 2023

Venue: Castlemaine Community House, Castlemaine

Cost: $75 full / $55 concession
