The Young Makers Market is an opportunity for young people to express their creativity and sell their homemade goods in a supportive environment
Be a Stall Holder!
Young people aged 10-25 can come and sell their homemade food, horticulture, cosmetics, art, crafts and more at our Young Makers Market Events!
The only rule is that you have to have created or altered the product yourself!
Space hire is free and tables and marquees are available for hire $5 each.
Events are held through-out the year and at different local venues around Castlemaine.

WHAT IS THE YOUNG MAKERS MARKET COMMITTEE?
Mount Alexander Shire Council’s Young Makers Market Committee is a group of young people that develop, plan and deliver up to 4 market events per year for 10-25 year olds in Mount Alexander Shire.
As a Young Makers Market Committee member you can gain experience in:
- Event management
- Booking venues & contractors
- Marketing & promotion
The Young Makers Market Committee meet in the lead up to the event and after the event, for each of the markets events held each year. Meeting dates and times will be communicated a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the meeting.
