WHAT IS THE YOUNG MAKERS MARKET COMMITTEE?
Mount Alexander Shire Council’s Young Makers Market Committee is a group of young people that develop, plan and deliver quarterly market events for 10-25 year old’s in Mount Alexander Shire.
As a Young Makers Market Committee member you can gain experience in:
- Event management
- Booking venues & contractors
- Marketing & promotion
- Budgeting
- Communications
The Young Makers Market Committee meet in the lead up to the event and after the event, for each of the markets events held each year. Meeting dates and times will be communicated a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the meeting.
